Turning Commercial Furniture Searches Into Orders

But driving additional traffic alone would not solve the problem. The shopping experience needed to make products easier to understand, while the product data feeding Google needed to accurately represent what customers could purchase.

MRKT360 identified inconsistencies between the product information displayed on the Shopify storefront and the backend data used by Google. Important attributes were missing or inconsistent, limiting how effectively products could be understood, indexed, and used within Google’s shopping ecosystem.

The opportunity was therefore twofold: improve the customer-facing buying experience while strengthening the product data supporting Google advertising and product discovery.

The Strategy Behind the Results

MRKT360 focused on more than simply driving traffic. The strategy combined e-commerce improvements, product merchandising, conversion-focused updates, and Google advertising to make commercial furniture easier to understand, evaluate, and purchase online.

Product Set Merchandising

MRKT360 recommended grouping complementary furniture pieces into complete sets instead of relying only on individual listings. This made it easier for customers to shop for coordinated furniture solutions.

Product & Catalogue Optimization

Product information was improved across Shopify, including dimensions, colours, materials, specifications, and commercial buying details. This created a more consistent experience for both shoppers and Google.

Bulk Order Support

A Request a Quote option and Speak to a Specialist feature were added to support customers planning larger purchases. This created a clearer conversion path for commercial buyers who may need pricing or assistance before placing a bulk order.

Performance Max & Product Visibility

Products were strengthened in Google Merchant Center and promoted through Performance Max, helping expand catalogue visibility and connect potential buyers with relevant furniture across Google’s advertising ecosystem.

Turning Individual Pieces Into Complete Furniture Sets

MRKT360 looked at how customers were shopping for commercial furniture and identified an opportunity to make the buying process simpler. Instead of relying only on individual product listings, complementary tables and chairs were organized into complete sets that made it easier for buyers to understand what worked together.

This was especially important for restaurants, cafés, patios, and other commercial spaces where customers may be furnishing multiple areas at once. Presenting products as coordinated sets created a clearer path from browsing to purchase while reducing the need to assemble combinations manually.

The strategy also helped shift the website from simply displaying individual furniture pieces toward presenting more complete solutions for commercial buyers.

Helping Buyers Picture the Furniture in Real Spaces

Commercial furniture is highly visual, and product imagery plays a major role in helping customers understand how a table, chair, or complete set will look in an actual space. MRKT360 worked on improving product visuals so the furniture could be presented more clearly and consistently online.

AI-assisted image editing was used to refine product proportions and backgrounds, creating stronger visuals while keeping the furniture itself as the focus. This helped products feel more polished and gave buyers a clearer sense of how the pieces could work together in restaurants, cafés, patios, and other commercial environments.
By improving the visual presentation alongside the product information, the website could communicate both the look and practical use of the furniture more effectively.

Creating Consistency Across Every Product Listing

With a large furniture catalogue, inconsistent product naming can make products harder for both customers and search platforms to understand. MRKT360 developed a standardized naming structure designed to make listings clearer and more consistent across the store.

Product names followed a defined format combining the brand, product type, relevant attributes, measurements, and colour, helping align the catalogue with the information customers use when searching and comparing furniture.

The same approach was applied alongside improvements to dimensions, materials, colours, and other product specifications, creating a more organized catalogue across Shopify and Google Merchant Center.

Fixing the Product Data Behind Google Shopping

A strong product catalogue depends on more than what customers see on the website. Google also relies on structured backend information to understand what each product is, when it should appear, and which searches it may be relevant to.

MRKT360 identified inconsistencies between the Shopify storefront and the product data being sent to Google Merchant Center. Important attributes were either missing or formatted inconsistently, creating a technical barrier between the client’s catalogue and Google’s shopping ecosystem.

Working alongside a Google E-Commerce Specialist, MRKT360 updated product listings across Shopify and Merchant Center, including accurate dimensions, standardized colours, corrected material types, and consistent specifications. Product information was also verified against supplier data to improve consistency across platforms.

Creating a Clearer Path for Bulk Orders

Commercial furniture purchases do not always follow a standard e-commerce checkout journey. Buyers planning larger orders may need pricing information, product guidance, or additional support before committing to a purchase.

MRKT360 introduced a Request a Quote option and a Speak to a Specialist feature, giving commercial buyers clearer ways to continue the purchasing process when a standard checkout was not enough.

This helped the website support both direct online orders and more consultative buying journeys for customers planning larger commercial purchases.

Expanding Product Visibility Across Google

With the product catalogue connected through Google Merchant Center, MRKT360 used Performance Max to bring relevant furniture products in front of potential buyers across Google’s advertising network.

Rather than relying on a single placement, Performance Max could distribute product-based advertising across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Discover, Gmail, and Maps based on campaign goals and user signals.

Refining What Worked to Support More Orders

Once the advertising and product setup were in place, MRKT360 focused on improving performance over time rather than allowing the campaign to run unchanged. Performance Max activity, product engagement, and overall campaign behaviour could be reviewed to identify where adjustments were needed.

Stronger-performing products and approaches could be maintained or expanded, while weaker areas could be refined to improve how budget and visibility were being used.

This optimization supported the broader goal of generating more orders by keeping the campaign aligned with the products and buying activity showing the strongest potential.

Partnerships That Support Smarter Furniture Store Marketing

By improving product sets, catalogue consistency, commercial buying information, quote pathways, Merchant Center data, and Performance Max campaigns, each part of the customer journey could support the next rather than operating separately.

Consistent Traffic, Conversions & Commercial Buying Activity

From November 2025 through May 2026, MRKT360 supported the furniture store through Performance Max and e-commerce optimization, generating consistent traffic and conversion activity while strengthening the path from product discovery to purchase.

24 Average Monthly Conversions

The campaign generated an average of 24 conversions per month, including add-to-carts, checkouts, phone calls, and form submissions. These actions provided a broader view of how shoppers were progressing from product discovery toward purchase.

1.5K Average Monthly Clicks

Paid campaigns generated an average of 1,500 clicks per month, consistently directing prospective customers toward the furniture catalogue and individual product pages.

$0.91 Average Cost Per Click

Traffic was generated at an average cost per click of $0.91, helping maintain efficient product visibility throughout the reporting period.

Bulk Orders Generated

The campaign also contributed to bulk-order activity, supporting the client’s commercial sales focus alongside standard online purchases. Features such as Request a Quote and Speak to a Specialist gave larger buyers additional ways to move forward.
