A Trusted Jeweler in Toronto With Room to Grow
This jewelry marketing case study follows an established Toronto retailer known for strong products, knowledgeable service, and an in-store experience that converts serious shoppers. The challenge was not the quality of the business, but getting more of the right customers to discover the brand and visit the store. What began as a growth-focused engagement has grown into a partnership spanning more than two years. MRKT360 continues to support the retailer across paid media, ecommerce, product content, creative, tracking, and in-store growth initiatives.

THE CHALLENGE
Great Products, Strong Service, But Not Enough Store Traffic
Like many established jewelry retailers, the business faced a familiar challenge: customers who visited the store often responded well to the product selection, expertise, and service, but not enough new shoppers were discovering the brand or making the trip in.
Jewelry is also a highly considered purchase. Customers compare products, prices, trust signals, and retailers across multiple touchpoints before deciding where to buy. The business needed stronger visibility throughout that journey, better ways to turn online interest into store visits, and a digital presence that reflected the quality of the in-store experience.
MRKT360 identified several opportunities to strengthen that foundation, including a more scalable ecommerce platform, stronger Shopping performance, improved product presentation, better measurement, and a closer connection between online marketing and the physical store.
JEWELRY MARKETING SERVICES
The Strategy Behind the Results
Our work combined paid advertising, ecommerce strategy, conversion tracking, product content, and creative development to help the retailer improve digital performance while creating stronger connections between its online store and physical location.
Google Shopping Management
Our team consistently monitored and refined Google Shopping performance, making informed adjustments as opportunities emerged to improve efficiency, product visibility, and qualified customer activity.
Advanced Conversion Tracking
We strengthened the retailer’s tracking with MRKT360-developed tools and enhanced measurement systems, giving our team more reliable performance signals to guide ongoing campaign decisions.
Product Feed Optimization
We applied specialized ecommerce expertise to continually improve the retailer’s product feed, helping Google better understand, match, and surface a complex jewelry catalogue to qualified shoppers.
the solution
Building a Jewelry Marketing Strategy Around How People Actually Buy
MRKT360 built the strategy around a simple idea: this was not just an ecommerce business and it was not just a local jewelry store. Customers could discover a piece online, research the business, compare options, ask questions, visit the store, trade in an existing piece, or purchase through a completely different path.
Our role was to strengthen those connections. We combined paid search, Shopping, local visibility, tighter measurement, stronger product presentation, creative development, and new customer acquisition ideas into one evolving strategy designed to bring more qualified shoppers closer to a purchase.
SEARCH STRATEGY
Capturing Jewelry Demand Across More Buying Audiences
Google Ads became one of the primary ways we introduced the retailer to people actively searching for jewelry and related services.
Rather than approaching jewelry as a narrow audience, we built the strategy around different types of buyers, including younger customers entering the market as well as older generations with different purchasing motivations, budgets, product interests, and levels of buying intent.
The account was consistently monitored and refined as search behaviour, opportunities, and performance changed.

SHOPPING STRATEGY
Turning a Stronger Ecommerce Catalogue Into a New Acquisition Channel
Once the retailer moved to Shopify, it opened up a stronger opportunity to expand the advertising strategy through Google Shopping.
We used the product catalogue as more than an online storefront. Shopping became another discovery point where customers could encounter specific pieces before deciding whether to purchase online, learn more about the retailer, or continue the conversation in store.
This allowed the ecommerce catalogue and physical location to support one another rather than operate as separate parts of the business.
LOCAL VISIBILITY
Making the Physical Store Easier to Discover
Because the retailer already had a strong in-store experience, one of the biggest opportunities was simply getting more qualified people through the door.
We strengthened the retailer’s Google Business Profile presence and its connection to the broader advertising strategy so local shoppers searching for jewelry could more easily discover the business, evaluate it, and take the next step toward visiting.
Direction requests became an especially important signal. The client was able to corroborate that increases in these actions were translating into actual in-store activity, giving us greater confidence that digital visibility was contributing to physical foot traffic.

MEASUREMENT
Building Better Signals Behind Every Decision
For a business where the final sale may happen online, over the phone, or inside the store, standard website reporting does not tell the whole story.
MRKT360 tightened the retailer’s conversion measurement using our own tracking tools and a more deliberate conversion framework. This included treating high-intent actions such as store direction requests as meaningful signals rather than looking only at traditional website conversions.
That stronger measurement gave us a clearer view of what was driving valuable customer behaviour and allowed ongoing optimization to be based on better information.
PRODUCT STRATEGY
Giving Every Jewelry Piece a More Consistent Sales Story
A strong jewelry catalogue needs to communicate more than a product name and technical specifications.
We developed a structured description formula that gave the retailer a consistent way to present each piece, balancing the overall look and design with the metals, stones, specifications, and details that serious jewelry shoppers want to understand.
The result was a more polished catalogue with a repeatable standard that could be applied as new inventory was added.

CREATIVE STRATEGY
Filling the Gaps in Jewelry Imagery With AI
Jewelry shoppers expect a certain level of visual presentation, but not every product had all of the imagery needed to meet those expectations.
We introduced AI-generated imagery to help fill missing industry-standard visual assets and expand how selected pieces could be presented.
Rather than replacing existing photography, AI became an additional creative tool that helped us build out missing product views, lifestyle concepts, and other visual applications where stronger imagery could improve the shopping experience.
NEW GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES
Creating a New Reason to Come Back Into the Store
We also looked beyond traditional advertising for ways to create new customer journeys.
One of those ideas became an ongoing jewelry trade-in program, giving customers the opportunity to bring in existing jewelry and apply its value toward another piece.
The concept created a new reason for both existing and prospective customers to engage with the retailer while naturally encouraging an in-store interaction.
Existing Jewelry → Trade-In Opportunity → Store Visit → New Jewelry Purchase
Because the program is still developing, it also gives the retailer another growth channel that can continue to be refined over time.

ONGOING OPTIMIZATION
A Strategy That Continues to Evolve
The work was never treated as a one-time campaign.
Over more than two years, MRKT360 consistently monitors performance, tests opportunities, strengthens tracking, refines paid search and Shopping, improves product presentation, expands creative capabilities, and introduces new ways to bring customers into the business.
The strategy continues to change as the retailer changes, allowing us to build on what was working rather than relying on the same approach indefinitely.

MRKT360 ADVANTAGE
More Than Advertising: Building New Growth Engines
The strongest opportunities came from looking beyond the campaign itself. MRKT360 kept finding new ways to create demand, improve how the retailer was discovered, strengthen how products were presented, and give customers more reasons to visit the store. That thinking led to initiatives such as expanding into Google Shopping, strengthening local visibility, introducing AI-supported jewelry imagery, creating a more consistent product content framework, and developing an ongoing trade-in program. The result was a marketing strategy that kept evolving with the business, combining performance marketing with new ideas designed to create additional paths to discovery, consideration, store visits, and future purchases.
