Why We Started Taking Blogging Seriously

Blogging is important to every business. At first, we didn’t take blogging as seriously as we should have, but we’ve learned about the benefits of blogging and how it can help take us to the next level! Here’s why we started taking blogging so seriously:

1. Website Traffic and Long-Term Result

Blogging can increase your website traffic that can turn into long-term results. You have the audience that is already browsing your site but blogging can bring in a new audience. When blogging, people can search up the keywords you’re using in your blog and you’ll pop up for them! Here is your brand new audience!  Your new audience will be engaged with your blog, make their way through your website and come back and visit for more blog posts!

 2. A Wider Reach Through Social Channels

Blogging opens up new opportunities on social media too! If you are blogging you can link your blog back to your social media channels AND you can promote your blog on your social media channels. It’s a way to be more active on all platforms and reach an audience that is not already directly looking for you, or by doing a google search for blogs directly. Almost all social media platforms utilize hashtags, so by using a variety of different hashtags you can reach many different people. For those who are unfamiliar with what a hashtag is, it is a word or phrase that is preceded by the hash symbol, #, used to identify messages on a specific topic.

 3. A Sense of Authority

It’s also a great way to show off your skills. Blogging shows your customers what your skills and talents are and also that you take what you do seriously. Your customers will get a sense of authority because they will get the chance to read up on your tips and insights and know that you know what you’re talking about. They will also get a sense of comfort knowing that you take the time to learn new things and are comfortable enough talking about and explaining it to others.

Blogging is a great way to get more reach, and to be honest, it’s pretty fun and easy! This is why everyone should start taking blogging more seriously.
